About Mrs. Stambek
Dear Families,
WELCOME to Kindergarten! It is a pleasure to introduce myself to you. My name is Suzie Stambek and I will be your child’s Kindergarten teacher for the 2016-2017 school year. I am married and live in Decatur with my husband, Joel, and two sons- T.J. and Matthew. I enjoy scrapbooking, flower gardening, and spending time with my family.
I graduated from Western Michigan University, in 2005, with a degree in elementary education and have minors in Math/Science and Integrated Creative Arts. In 2010, I received a Master of Science in Education degree in Integration of Technology in the Classroom. This is my tenth year teaching. Before becoming a teacher I worked as a dance instructor, Kindergarten paraprofessional and substitute teacher in several area school districts. I am looking forward to an exciting and productive year. I believe each child is an unique individual and education is one of the most important gifts we can give our children, so my goal is to work with you and your child to help him/her meet Kindergarten expectations and succeed. I have many fun and exciting activities planned for this year. We are going to have a GREAT time!
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call or email ([email protected]). My phone number at school is 628-9426. I am very excited about our wonderful classroom and the upcoming school year! With parents and teachers working together, we can create both lifelong readers and learners! I appreciate all the help you can give your child at home. I look forward to meeting each of you.
Thank you for sharing your child with me!
